The Eclipse Studios director, Vlad Mihai Leonard, had an ambitious project: to recreate James Cameron's movie using a 3D Modeling and Animating software, some talented people and his acknowledges.

The production of Titanic first began on April 13 when the director wanted to create a short animation of Titanic in the memory of those people who didn't survive on Titanic that night. The short animation illustrates one of the most beloved scenes in the Original Titanic(1997).

Later, he wanted to make almost the whole movie in 3D Animation, showing the most important scenes of the movie like Leaving Southampton, Sailing on the Atlantic, The Iceberg collision, and The sinking of Titanic.
On May 20, he initiated the project, and then he recruited some other talented people to help the crew in the making of a splendid CGI movie. The crew of
Eclipse Studios has grown, making it even bigger. The collaborators helped us with different resources like sound effects, visual effects, 3D models, and animations.

The work went well until they find out that the actual software wasn't able to make some specific tasks, so they canceled the Sinking scene of Titanic. The ambition of the director and his desire to recreate one of the best movies of all time made him find a solution in the making of the respective scene. He created himself new 3D Models and background elements and he made some animations possible thanks to a new animation plugin exclusive for the actual rendering software.

Now, celebrating 2 years of Eclipse Studios and over 10.700 views on YouTube, the director Vlad Mihai Leonard and the crew, work hard on an extended version of the movie including some other new scenes unseen in the previous movie, previous scenes remade, and some bonuses. The movie was announced at the end of this month(May).
